Jerry - if a doctor is still recommending drinking while nursing, fire him/her. La Leche League recommended it decades ago and unanimously opposes it. But then I still meet doctors who claim milk coats your stomach and nurses who think amniotic fluid is comprised of baby urine so I guess there are complete and utter morons even among the schooled.
