Jerry - if a doctor is still recommending drinking while nursing, fire him/her. La Leche League recommended it decades ago and unanimously opposes it. But then I still meet doctors who claim milk coats your stomach and nurses who think amniotic fluid is comprised of baby urine so I guess there are complete and utter morons even among the schooled.
the fact that people object to the criminalization of a person giving the most insidiously, physiologically ruining drug known to man to a six week old speaks to what a nation of dumb-bunnies we are. In fact, we get more indignant over being called stupid or any variation thereon, than to a mother giving her infant alcohol
